Government Funding for Employee Training

Invest in Employee Training with Funds from the Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG). Ontario’s workforce is our most valuable asset. The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforce, with help from the government.

As an eligible third-party training provider, LearningBrick will work directly with your team to help you get started and complete the application process.

HOW DOES THE CANADA JOB GRANT WORK?

The Canada Job Grant provides direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees.

This Includes:

• The Government providing up to 2/3 of the total cost, with a maximum of $10,000 per person for training costs.
• Employers must contribute 1/3 of the total costs with some additional flexibility for small businesses to provide in-kind contributions.
• The training agreement cannot exceed one year in duration. Training can start any time throughout the year.
• Employers are required to complete an application and submit it on-line in order for funding to be considered.
