This course provides a foundation for network administrators and IT operations professionals to be able to configure, discover, and manage their networks. Students learn the basic functionality included with WhatsUp Gold for monitoring their network, creating actions and alerts in response to device conditions, and generating network reports.

Course Description

What Will You Learn

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Apply credentials to WhatsUp Gold and discover devices on your network.
  • Add devices to your monitored network and view the Network Topology Map.
  • Create email notifications and in-app alerts in response to network events.
  • Use dashboards to visualize your network and produce reports.
  • Continuously display key network information by setting up a NOC Viewer slide deck.
  • Add other users to WhatsUp Gold and access user activity reports.
